FUNCTION
OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM
The covering and the edging material (the latter prepared in the form of a roll) are drawn together through a feed-in tube and joined. Two one-needle double chain-stitch sewing-machines then sew the two materials together. The exact cover length is ensured by the use of a circular cutter. An ultrasound cutting device produces the slanting seams of the covers. Thanks to a circular cutter positioned lengthways to the sewing-machine 2 covers per cycle are produced each time.
